Wedding, Port Glasgow
Sometimes a photograph comes to you, rather than you going searching for it.
Cathleen and I stopped at Newark Castle for five minutes on our way to Glasgow this afternoon. We were only intending to eat a sandwich we had bought in the supermarket when we were shopping, but as we parked we saw this right in front of us - a wedding party having their formal photographs taken despite the rain and the mist that was virtually obscuring the other side of the Clyde.
I couldn't resist what looked like a Vetriano painting come to life , umbrellas and all, so every good wish to them for the future, whoever they were. I hope the rest of the day was a bit kinder to them !
