The Pinfold

It was the last leg of the wedding celebrations this afternoon and we were invited for a final get together and some lunch. The lunch turned out to be fish and chips cooked for us in a mobile chip trailer hired for the occasion - they tasted amazing!

Even though we had to say goodbye to everyone, we will be meeting up next year for my sister Helen's other daughter, my niece Charlotte's wedding.

Before our final meet up, thechimp and I went for a drive to Elsdon and a walk around the village. We stopped off at the very friendly village tearoom which caters very much for the cyclists (although they let us in too :-)). The picture is thechimp standing in the entrance to the Pinfold which is where straying animals were enclosed.
