Paradise found

We went to explore the local beaches today - and oh my god, how beautiful!  Both the weather and the beaches got more stunning as we went on - we started at Keadue Strand, where it was a bit overcast, then picked our way around the coast from tiny beautiful cove to tiny beautiful cove, with the cloud clearing and the sun shining more and more.  Met a local lady on the way who urged us to keep going as it only got more beautiful - I loved her enthusiasm for her local area (and could completely understand it!)

This was our lunch stop.  Not another soul in sight at this point - until a mink suddenly appeared on one of the rocks just on the edge of the sea, with a fish in its mouth.  Never seen anything like that before!  I know mink get a bad press, but it was still exciting to see one that had just fished for its lunch!
