Soaked to the bone.

They said the weather would be mostly fine , but possibly with the odd shower or even a downpour if you were unlucky.
I was unlucky. 
The downpour occurred just as Bess and I were crossing an open field with no shelter. She didn't mind though and I soon dried out. She didn't even mind being tethered outside Tesco as I went in for my Sunday paper. What a tolerant hound she is.
