A big tidy up

Today the state of the house got to me so I got the boys to tidy up. As usual it was the most outrageous thing I could have suggested, and my lovely 11 year old seemed to think it really wasn't necessary and wasn't his job. Luckily they both wanted screen time and that's the best bribe out there! It took ages because they wanted to play with everything the were supposed to be tidying away. It was enough to test the patience of a saint. Eventually we got there and it was tidied and I even got them to help vacuumed - it was either that or I was just going to hoover up their stuff.
After blitzing the house and baking bread I got the boys to sort out the dressing up box - it brought up lots of memories. Some of the outfits from when they were 3 or 4! D used to dress up as a ladybird all the time - he didn't even remember it!
Now I'm sitting in the bathroom while D has a bath trying to minimise the amount of water that comes out of the bath - we've already had the floor completely flooded because he whooshed in the bath.... still at least it means the bathroom floor is nice and clean now.
