Helen and I met up with Becky for breakfast in Ormskirk.The Ormskirk gingerbread festival was in full swing and we took the opportunity to load up with some traditional and chocolate covered.Wonderful stuff.

After a frustrating week I spent most of the afternoon asleep in the conservatory.

John called in this evening and it was nice to catch up.He told us of a new business venture he has been setting up.He seems to be doing more and more since he retired.He is using his experience to help some younger people get set up and get going.He looked shattered and is waiting for some good weather to get the harvest in.
