Hot air, balloons and a festival
I collected Anni/Bikerbear from her hotel this morning for another blip buddy day. We parked up on the seafront to rectify the balloonless weekend. We provided the hot air with our incessant chatter, Tesco provided the balloons.
We walked along the pier stopping for a cream tea and people watching before discovering the Lammas festival which celebrates the first corn harvest. We sat to watch the Hunters Moon Morris dancers in their incredible costumes. Not your average Morris dancers for sure! The stalls were interesting too. On the way back we stopped for fish and chips, compulsory at the seaside. In search of a cuppa we had a final walk, this time round the harbour. The contrast in the weather from yesterday's downpour we were in danger of being sunburnt. Home to say hello to the woofs then time to say goodbye.
It's felt like being on holiday this weekend having such an enjoyable time. Thanks Anni for being a fabulous companion x
