The top picture...

...and the bottom picture are both the same painting...how?

I said yesterday that I had made my own alcohol inks using isopropyl alcohol and food dyes. And I have been experimenting on different papers that I have.

This one was on photographic paper, on the back of the shiny photo paper. That is the top one. I photographed it. Then when I turned it over to the shiny side, there was the picture in reverse.

So I took a second pic to show you how it looked.

I realised it had happened on a few paintings.

So this is my pic for today for my pic every day in 2017.

I will talk about making the inks from food dyes etc more tomorrow because I am tired now and need sleep.
