Wide Open

The lens aperture that is. Set at its light grabbing maximum orifice this chunk of glass is unforgiving and gives no latitude to the user so far as focus goes. Factor in an unpredictable Caley darting about and the results are down to luck.
The purpose of this wee trip up the A86 was to check out the brakes on the car, Following a major main dealer service including work on the brakes last week we were getting a lot of scraping noises and heat build up on the front disks. It has now had a further visit to a local garage and it seems to be fixed.
Caley came too and so we stopped at the concrete bridge for Corrour and had a  quick tramp to the west end of Loch Laggan.
