To my grandparents

Growing potatoes always reminds me of my Irish roots. When I dig them up each year I think of my grandparents, in Tipperary and Mayo, who would have grown lots of their vegetables. So a few potatoes fresh from the earth for today's dinner.

And this is also for cousins, Leslie and Joyce who still live on the farm in Tipperary.
We hope to get over for a few days in October.
