Country Life
Almost the end of July - yikes! This has been a really full-on month.
Got to the URC church in Wonersh and I got assigned a reading!! Much chatter at the end of the service and as it was "sunny" (after a short shower), G decided she wanted to check out a few roads, as she often does. We have scouted the land now. ;) Went past some great places but it was the wrong time of the day for photographs.
Watched RideLondon on TV and enjoyed viewing some familiar sights of TV (i.e. the A25, Dorking etc.) It finished just in time for us to jump and head to the evening service at Cranleigh!! Another road checked out on the way home and we decided to call into a pub for a Guinness. The preferred one (William IV) was closed at 8pm(!), so we tried The Drummond - a bit more pricey, but very nice! My blip is of the main dining room. I guess Sunday is a day to eat lunch out, rather than dinner.
The drinks order changed from a Guinness to a (calypso) coffee liqueur almost immediately. :(
