YORK
Yet another shot of our beautiful city.
Our son and his family are up from Kent and staying with us for the weekend, so this morning, my son and I walked the Bar Walls, all 2.6 miles of it, and as there was a little cool breeze but the sun on your face it felt good.
As we strolled through the Museum Gardens (taking a detour to see what all the commotion was) we came out near Marygate postern just in time to see the start of one of the heats of the Dragon Boat races.
Today's blip is taken from the section of the wall opposite the railway station, and looking back accross Lendal Bridge to the Minster.
