I found a brand new pair of children's overalls in the charity shop for £1.99 and thought they'd be ideal for when eldest pleads to paint the shed with me this weekend.

And ideal they were for the five minutes he stayed with me on the job. Youngest enticed him away with a spade and a great big muddy hole that was just begging to be filled with water and splashed about in.

I couldn't deny them the fun of a mud bath on such a beautiful day.

The shed is now painted and I'm inordinately chuffed with myself. Back's killing me, hand has blisters, face covered in speckles, in need of a beer, but most definitely chuffed.
