Rainy Days And Mondays

Well, maybe not a rainy day, but very cloudy.
When they said this place was quiet, they weren't kidding.
We drove along the road which winds along the Gironde Estuary to have a look at the various fishing villages and harbour towns. No one told us that everything is closed on a Monday...
The town we're staying in seems deserted. No wonder it stays so clean and tidy. Somebody must be watering those hanging baskets though.
We came back and relaxed for the afternoon. I read a book and the children reattached themselves to devices.
We're not expecting sunshine tomorrow but Wednesday looks like things will improve.
