A Day On The Beach

A special blip day called for a special photograph. I considered it fortuitous that my seven year anniversary fell on one of the busiest summer days at the beach. I set out to capture the ebb and flow of this day on Playa La Ropa. Multiple trips later, I had the raw material from which to create this day-long series. Throughout the past seven years, I have perhaps too often relied on simply finding something of which to take a daily photograph. Today, I felt it important to reestablish my connection to the craft of creating an image - thinking, planning, capturing, and processing. Seven years down, many more to come.
