East Atrium
I had an easy day at work, sitting in the office going through xray reports.
As I left, the choir were rehearsing in the East Atrium
Meanwhile, back at base, W has had an interesting and somewhat frustrating day. A plasterer was coming round this morning to look at a small job, give us a price and hopefully a date. In fact, he actually started the job today. So W, instead of spending the day mowing the lawn, was entertained to some interesting political opinions and rather more chatter than he is used to. And I came home to a bare brick wall and dust everywhere.
Then I took over the frustration. We have a long weekend break booked through Lastminute, in Riga. Today I was attempting to check in on the Wizzair website. I can't seem to make the online check in work on the website, but did manage to do it using the app on my tablet. Half way through checking in, minor panic as I couldn't find my passport - it turned up safely tucked into the back pocket of my handbag.
Then I discovered that the "small cabin bag" allowed with the basic check in is so small, we don't actually have anything small enough to qualify. Annoyingly, Wizzair is falling in to line with most of the other budget airlines come the end of October, and increasing the size of the standard cabin luggage bag allowance - but that's too late for us. So I've had to cough up an extra 16 euros each way to upgrade one of our bags to "large".
I can't find anywhere on the Wizzair Facebook page to give them the feedback I feel they deserve!
