And Quiet Flows the Allan

As Mondays go today was unusually quiet partly because I was determined to try and finish checking the proofs of my latest book, something I have been putting off.
Also, I am still not able to return to my morning yoga class because of the recent cataract operation.
 
This afternoon though I did meet up with a friend who has been on a filmmaking course – how to make movies on your iPhone. She tells me there is even a special category at film festivals for this new genre.
 
Well, it gave us ideas…
 
As for my photo for the day, this is a quick shot of the Allan Water river in Bridge of Allan. Usually, when I photograph this river it's because it is in full flood or thronging with families picnicking beside the river.
