In the night garden

After watching the bats through the window for a while Mike and I decided to go watch outside. Then standing on the patio a barn owl swoops down right along the back fence, twice, then goes and sits in one of the trees and watches us for a bit before flying off. 10 feet or so (It's a small garden) from a real live wild barn owl at night. Astonishing. We are so so lucky. (The bats were awesome too).

And we saw the ISS (I've just been checking transit times online to confirm).
