Cranesbill.
After lunch Clickychick was continuing her quest for pastoral scenes. While we were parked by the roadside and she was engrossed with her tripod I was wandering around taking shots. I had just focused on this Cranesbill and was about to press the shutter when the bee landed.
A couple of frantic shutter releases and I had got some shots. Just as it decided to move on to another flower. The Bee (going by my identification skills) is a worker Red-Tailed Bumble Bee. A species which is widely distributed in the UK only being absent from parts of the west coast of Scotland.
