Abe Lincoln
...of Lincoln Park.
We spent some time this afternoon at the amazing Chicago History Museum. After that we wandered a little bit of Lincoln Park where we found this great statue of President Lincoln. We cut the tour short to go in search of a place for dinner as the skies started looking dark. We found a great spot in Old Town as the edge of the storm blew by, knocking over an umbrella or two on the street. Meanwhile, our oldest texted us from her volleyball camp in Lisle telling us how hard it was raining as "the apocalypse" moved through!
Since I'm posting this after the day I can report that there were a lot of trees down in Lisle when we picked her up on Monday.
