Can I HAVE these?

Can I have this?  Can I have one?  Can I have that one?  Can I have this toy/game/sweet/lolly/add the whole of the material world and that will just about sum up my day!!!  These I could at least laugh at, the rest were all serious requests which I answered very sweetly with 'No'. Hard day by all accounts. Eldest son is 'man of the Day' by far!!!!
