View from the top of the Brae.

Killing time before my appointment this afternoon I took this photo and it was clear enough to see hills on the opposite side of the Firth of Forth. When I returned half an hour later it was raining steadily. I finished my return walk as the rain ceased. Within 30 minutes,it was pouring with rain. Is this a variation on April Showers?
