And we're off!

This year we've decided to stagger the trip to Eigg. So, today was a leisurely drive up to Callander, where we stopped for lunch at Mhor Bread (again), and then a less relaxing drive up to Tyndrum, where we'd booked a room for the night.

I took over the driving after lunch, and was happily singing along to the music when I felt a searing pain in my neck. Turns out that getting stung by a wasp while driving winding Scottish roads isn't much fun. If anything, it's a bit dangerous.
The good news is, I don't seem to be allergic to wasps, which is handy.

We carried on with the rest of the drive (with the windows firmly shut) and arrived at our Fawlty Towers inspired hotel with no further incident.

A stroll to the Green Welly and then to the cafe for fish and chips and the last of the wifi for a few days.

We'll manage.
