The Chest of Drawers Restoration.

     This is the chest of drawers (minus the draws) that I have now started on.

     The draws themselves I will restore after I have done the carcass.
I have put this up as the main picture to give you an idea of its size.

     The first extra is the top of it having put some Wax and polish remover on it and I have purposely left the rag that I used to wipe off the years of polish so you can see how dirty it was.

     The second extra I have sanded one of the sides of the chest of drawers down to the bare wood. I will do this all over and continue sanding with the different grades of sand paper to bring it to a really smooth surface.

     I will then wipe over it to remove all the dust, then seal it and then I will proceed to re -stain it and then finally polish it.
Lots of work to do yet, but will keep you posted as to how the restoration is going.
