Barging

I don't think I have ever seen the K&A so busy.

The water level seemed low this evening and the barge on the right appeared to be churning up the  bottom of the canal.

There is some sort of pumping system that supplies more water as needed. I am not entirely sure how it works but someone needs to engage it!

Florence flew home from NY during last night so we had a Skype catch up when I got home from work. It was the best week of her life and, if someone offered her a job, she would drop everything to move there. (I hope no one offers her a job - I don't see enough of her as it is!)

In other news, my niece, Ruby, left for Gran Canaria today to perform with a circus for 3 months. Sounds like fun!
