Tiny Tuesday

After 2 really hot days my 'white' hibiscus flowers opened overnight - they are small and not quite white but with a hint of pink and a deep pink in the middle (see extra).
This afternoon I had coffee with a friend then went to the lake near her house. The wild flowers by the lake were teeming with bees, butterflies, dragonflies and lots of hopping things. There were lots of these tiny Common Blues around which is my pick for Tiny Tuesday. The other end of the lake was also teeming - with families cooling off under the trees and in the water where there is a shallow section and sandy beach for the kids.
