Skye Fall

Last night we had torrential rain, it even woke me up. It was cloudy when we got up but then the sun came out and the day was glorious and warm.

Our landlady again recommended a walk nearby at Ramasaig. We had the bay to ourselves once again and the most magnificent view of a waterfall into the sea with Neist Lighthouse in the background ( just make it out far left). This isn't a view that many people find, its not published but I can't imagine a better one on Skye. On the hill behind the bay we walked through remains of an ancient settlement, very interesting but unfortunately nothing to explain it.

I can't load extras taken later at the gardens go Dunvegan Castle or a wonderful sunset from a hill our landlady drove us to. She is a gem.
