Well more p....d off actually. No. 1 daughter, Lucy, and I are off to Tenerife today for some sunshine and relax etc for a whole week. Mr. T is exhausted after his big birthday celebrations and is happy for Lucy and I to go without him, bit too hot for him anyway and Lucy can do with a break so off we go and on arrival in plenty of time at Manchester we are told that there is to be a .... delay ... of our flight of about 2 hours , which turned into 3 and then 4 and then 4 1/2 hours, so we hung about at the airport for 6 or 7 hours which actually passed quite quickly and we didn't drink the bars quite dry. Our airline kindly gave us some vouchers, which we spent wisely, of course, on a(nother) couple of double G&T's on the plane when we finally got going.

Arrived Tenerife 12.30am - bed around 2.30am - such a balmy night sipping a few nightcaps on our balcony.

Delays all forgotten now!
