Why ?

Why would a very conventional Hair Salon, serving very conventional older (female) clientele, have this as a window display?

I found myself wondering that this afternoon. For a second or two. And then I grabbed the camera.

The blip choice today was this or some doleful donkeys and a doleful donkey attendant walking slowly up a very long hill to the donkey field after a probably unprofitable day on the beach or a solitary cloud shaped a bit like a human spine in an otherwise entirely blue sky.

All snapped in a brief walk to the local shops to get 'a paper and a blip', after spending the whole day getting a headache from studying small poor quality photocopies of maps and comparing them in minute detail to Bing Maps on the netbook.

Which is probably why I chose the funny blip (and bought chocolate cookies as well as the paper).
