Not gone shopping

A brief visit to the precinct at lunchtime. The main area is doing OK, but this section is just empty - even the pawn brokers.

The British high street has changed irrevocably over the last 15 years. Woollies, the record shop, travel agents, greengrocers and butchers have all disappeared from this precinct. £1 shops and charity shops have been saviours.
