Quantitative easing?

Old Mah-Jong sets come with points tallies in the form of marked ivory sticks. New sets at best have a few plastic replicas, at worst nothing at all. A few years ago I made my own version out of coloured wooden play sticks, enough for two Mah-Jong sets. If you run out of tallies you go bankrupt, so I have now made more money so nobody will run out in future. I spent time yesterday writing on spare sticks so there should be enough in future. I believe this is similar to quantitative easing?
