We've arrived...

... for our first ever holiday cruise. It took us 11 hours to travel from home to Lyon in France to start our river cruise. (Just two flights and a long wait in Amsterdam). 

A temperature of around 35°C here this afternoon and very humid. The blip shows the build-up of cloud over the River Rhone as we went in to dinner. Sure enough the incredibly heavy rain followed.

Internet access is a bit hit and miss so my comments over the next week will be seriously brief, but I hope to continue the blips.
