Outwith my tyre width...

I saw a route that looked like a designated cycle/walk path about halfway down my first hill. Looked like the entrance to one i saw on a map.

Nope.

It gradually devolved from tarmac path, to gravel, to grass, to rutted mud....
...and then deposited me on the road it would have taken me 2 minutes to get to...10 minutes later.


Better bank that in the "never to use again" bucket.
