Visitors

Poor things have come down for a summer holiday only to be trapped indoors by rain (while it's sunny in Inverness). [Sodden] sod's law. It's been lovely to see Mum, Dad and Rory for the day. Benny the dog is on holiday with my aunt and uncle in Nairn – it's the first time Dad and Benny have been parted and both seem to be doing fine.

Trapped by the rain, we played a board game in which Dad earned the hat and the label "Stupid", because the rest of us answered all the questions right. That meant he couldn't remove the "Stupid" hat and his playing counter moved step by step down from "Genius" to "Stupid", at which point he won, if you could call it that. If one of us had answered a question incorrectly, that one would have had to have worn the Stupid hat. Luckily, the rest of us are geniuses.
