Blue Heron near her Nest

I was told about a nest in a tree near our Beach house, so I looked and this who I saw peeking out at me. I heard that there used to be a Heron Rookery in these trees, but now there was this lone Heron. This change was good news for the land owner......they couldn't build on the property while the Rookery was there......it was a protected area. But now they have built 5 Tiny Homes on the property and a Disc Golf course.......it is a delightful area for a family vacation.
Have to go.......time to pick up the grandkids and take them out crabbing tonight!! Hope we get lots.
