Sea dog
Another belated blip from the Raasay holiday in June. Gus on the seaweedy tidal causeway to Holoman Island. Does he really think he is concealed as he attempts to round up his surrogate sheep Rowan?
The extra shows a juvenile wheatear in amongst the Pelvetia on the upper shore. Soon this bird will be making its epic journey to sub-Saharan Africa for the winter, and if it survives its first long migration, it will be heading back in early Spring next year.
Thank you for all the hearts, stars and comments for the last Raasay back blip. I'm always surprised that they get noticed. I shall try and provide an update on how things have been more recently since I started the cladribine treatment.
