Painted

Whilst out with the childminder CyclopsJnr had the opportunity to have his face painted, which always pleases him. I'm told the childminder popped out of the room for a minute to take her other charge to the toilet, and when she returned a face painter had set up stall and CyclopsJnr was already sitting in the chair having confidently and politely asked her to paint a rainbow on him. When asked where his Mummy was he had correctly answered 'at work' so his guardianship mystified the face painter a little. But they were in an enclosed play cafe so she just pressed on anyway and all was well.

CyclopsJnr had a very good report from the childminder today, having behaved impeccably.

CyclopsJnr is making up for not eating for three days. He has eaten a bowl of porridge, a banana, a babybel, some chocolate buttons, a toastie, a bowl of soup, another banana, a fig roll, a bowl of raspberries and blueberries, some pasta carbonara with broccoli, a squeezy yoghurt, a kinder chocolate, a box of raisins and some more blueberries. All large portions. He says he is still hungry.

EDIT: Plus a mini roll and an oatcake... My cupboards are now bare...
