Clouds in Puddles

It is TM's birthday today. The plan was to have a trip down to Hadrian's Wall and visit Vindolanda. That hadn't been excavated the last time we were there!

But - the rain was coming down in lumps here this morning - and the forecast for Northumberland not encouraging. 

We decided to leave it till tomorrow, and to go out for lunch at Herges on the Loch instead. And then to Harestanes for afternoon tea - perhaps that was a mistake .... Not much got done for the rest of the day.

Much later we had a walk by the Teviot, and the picture is one of the many puddles we had to negotiate on the way, reflecting the clouds which are, ominously, still very much in evidence.

I think it's more impressionist than abstract, but it's my best effort  for this week's challenge.
