The Loup of Fintry.

This evening we decided to visit the Loup (waterfall) of Fintry for the first time. This is where the young Endrick Water tumbles nearly a hundred feet ove rock ledges into a narrow steep sided Glen. Narrow road, squeeze the car up tight against the wall and fold the mirrors in then walk down along an overgrown path. And there was mud too, quite a lot of it!
However, it was well worth it as we reached the top of a small rise and this is the sight before us. And after the rain, it was pretty thunderous too. We just stood and soaked up the spectacle for a few minutes before getting the cameras out.
If you decide to give the falls a visit, we would advise stout boots and a walking stick both for support and for whacking back the vegetation trying to reclaim the path.
