Scuppered, not the view I was hoping for.

I was planning a short bike ride for Sunday. However I must have slept in an awkward position, as my leg was really sore. So short bike ride. It was an effort to hobble around the park, where I saw a snail village on a tree, Extra. I managed to walk up to Caiystane, where I got a nice shot across Edinburgh to the Forth and Fife.

Afternoon spent hobbling through Morningside, visiting charity shops. Painkillers didn't quite work. At least I got a coffee and cake.

My leg did get better in the evening, and was ok by bedtime. Weird though. I put it down to not having cycled in a long time, my legs just needed time to get used to exercise again.
