Auntie's Christmas meal

My great Auntie Phyl, known simply as Auntie, does not buy Christmas presents for the family. Instead, she takes us all out for dinner, usually sometime in January or February.

When diaries were compared this year, the earliest date the 18 of us all had free was September 22. Auntie was not impressed. Then we found out a couple of months back that Emily's 11-plus fell on the same morning and we would be late for the 12.30 table. Auntie harrumphed some more.

Anyway, as you can see, Auntie perked up after an excellent feed and we enjoyed a brilliant day. Season's greetings one and all!
