Limestone Country

Just beautiful weather today the quarterly walking group I lead. A longer day than the distance demanded, here we are climbing up from Grassington along the Dales Way near Conniston Pie. The limestone pavement formations and escarpements breaking through the soil lend this area a unique aspect which I love.

Promising myself a slower day tomorrow.
