cello section warming up and going over our parts with the cello coach at 8:30 before whole orchestra joins us from 9:30 to noon.  those little chairs kill and the conductor forgets that we need to get off our butts now and then.  but the music is quite coming together; there are about two minutes at the end of one 7 movement piece that is so fast that i simply "airbow" but in the basic rhythm and length of stroke - this too is a skill! :):):)  i will get back to comments on your journals after all this and dust has settled.  thanks for looking.  


and yes David it is fun, the kind of fun that sometimes has you want to scream 'cause it is so hard, but fun nonetheless.
