Thursday: Mural

The city is so hazy at the moment, due to the smoke from the forest fires.  

There was an event tonight to say goodbye to my American colleague, Lynne, who leaves next week.  I'll miss her very much - she's been an incredibly supportive colleague.

And this picture is proof that every cloud has a silver lining as I took it walking to the pound to retrieve the car which had been towed while I was at the farewell drinks......in my defence the sign where I parked was far from clear.  I was told by someone who worked at the drinks venue that people were always getting towed from there.
