I see dots

"the best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley"  Robert Burns

I had lots of plans today. Starting with this morning, where I would go to the National Gallery Singapore to finally have a good look at the whole of the building, which I had last seen (and guided) when there were still two buildings. And I was to go to the Yayoi Kusama exposition "Life is the Heart of the Rainbow", I love her colours and dots. So I had just arrived at the museum when it opened and was ready to get my entrance ticket when my phone rang. Son no 1, to say he was feeling very unwell, was in a taxi on his way to our hotel and he wanted to see the gp again. Where was I? So I needed to get back to Mom's duties once more, but before I left the museum I thought I'd better capture something, just in case I wouldn't be able to come back today. The Children's Gallery is all decked out in rainbow dots, it's interactive, so I'm guessing the children get to paste their own dots on the walls, floors and furniture in the room. It hadn't opened yet and I wasn't allowed to actually enter, but I did take 5 quick shots. See a more detailed one in the extra.

And I was right to do so, as indeed since then I had precious few occasions to capture anything. Son is now resting in our bedroom, husband is doing telephone conferences in the living, I'm serving tea and crackers and doing errands for one and all ;-)

Thanks very much for your Abstract Thursday entries and for all your kind comments, stars and even hearts for yesterday's Indian art !
