A Snowy Day

10cm of snow fell last night and we awoke to a real fairyland.
Skiing today was heaven or hell depending on the constantly changing conditions (and your commitment to the activity :-)).
Heaven when there was a glimpse of sun and you could see the terrain. The snow was beautiful. A bit too thick in places.
Then we'd get caught in a howling blizzard with minimal visibility.
The extra shows one of these occasions, despite the sign.

I got some lovely photos before going out this morning but like this one of the family setting out the best.

We leave tomorrow and it's probably a good thing as the weekend weather forecast is not pretty. Gale force winds and they sound as if they are starting already.
