The butterfly is excellent camouflaged and the whole body is adapted to it. The irregular orange-brown spots appear to speak of the burns in leaves. The wing approach is lighter and clear and resembles the nerve of a leaf. The dark ends of the vein on the wing edge resemble the leaf edge and even small spikes are imitated. The lemon butterfly has no eyelids or other scary colors on the upper (inside) side of the wings, and never folds it at rest, so it looks perfect on a leaf...
