Elizabeth de Burgh died 1421

It's been a much better day today, only a few drops of rain but there is still quite a brisk wind.  We've done our usual Friday jobs which was mainly the Sainsbury's trip.

This afternoon I went back to Burrough Green this time with Margaret to take a couple of photos of the inside of St Augustine's Church.

This is Elizabeth de Burgh lying beside her husband John Ingoldestorpe.  Elizabeth died in 1421 and he in 1420.  Their tomb has been here for the best part of 600 years and still someone is leaving them flowers.
