Here's another of my 'pet' hates.

You take your dog for a walk in beautiful Devon woods looking over fields and landscape.  Your dog does its business.  What do you do?

a. Ignore it and hope nobody else steps in it
b. stick and flick
c. pick it up in a non-degradable plastic bag and hang it from a tree for the world to admire in perpetuity.

If you have answered c. your dog is almost certainly the more intelligent half of the partnership.
