Windswept

We were pretty rubbish at the quiz last night, but we had fun!!

I slept well last night, hub was awake before me, itching to get a cup of tea ;-) Once we were up we decided to pop into Manchester so I could collect my camera :-D.

It was quite sunny, pleasant but really blowy in Manchester, as you can see from this chap in my blip ;-))). He was stood like this, frozen in his pose, not far from Jessops shopfront where I picked up my camera. I dropped a coin in his tin, before taking his picture.....on my phone sadly, as stupidly I didnt take a battery with me :-// We stopped off for a sandwich and a coffee before headi back to the car.

On our way home we stopped off at daughters to drop off some milk for when she and Emily return from holidays tomorrow. The magic gnomes have been at work too, grass cut, edged, border weeded and plants in window boxes watered ;-)

When we got back home, no gnomes had been to our house, so we repeated the process, grass cut, edged, planters fed and watered, followed by a well earned cuppa sat in the garden, admiring our handy work ;-)

Camera is all charged up now, checked, all in working order.....raring to go!!! Whilst I was in the shop, I asked about trading in my Nikon for an upgraded model......they would give me £140 as its it excellent condition, again something that costs circa £500, bearing in mind Ive just paid them £170 for a repair.... something not quite right me thinks!!!
I promise thats the last you'll hear of it now ;-)

Just off to make some homemade tomato, chilli, garlic, onion pasta sauce......think we will have that, with some salmon pasta for dinner.
Then its an evening of athletics for us, watching that is, not undertaking!!
